Brianna helped anchor the defense that held opponents to one goal or less in six contests. She was second on team in defensive saves (2).</p><p><strong>2006 (Freshman)</strong>: Playing in 18 games, Cummins earned six starts. She provided depth for the Tigers, while gaining valuable experience at the collegiate level.</p><p><strong>High School</strong>: Brianna attended Fallbrook Union High School, where she played four years of varsity basketball and three years of varsity field hockey. She was the field hockey team's MVP as a junior and as a senior, and in 2004 she received the team's most improved award. Brianna led the Warriors to an 8-2 record and to the Avocado League Championship in 2005.</p><p><strong>Personal</strong>: Brianna Cummins was born in Long Beach, Calif. Daughter of Terry and Lori Cummins, she has three siblings, Shawn, Michaelene and Katie. An elementary education major with an emphasis in special education, Brianna's future plans are to become an elementary school teacher.
